Catalyst Game Labs wants people to join the Patrol! Not simply as observers, but active participants. We want you to grab your ray guns and line up to blast off as Patrolmen, helping to expand the breadth and scope of Cosmic Patrol’s universe. We want our players to share the game with their friends, create their own websites for their campaigns, write their own fiction, post their house rules, publish ebooks of their own Cosmic Patrol-based creations, create crossover systems for running Cosmic Patrol using other published (or home-grown) rules sets, or even create a mash-up of Cosmic Patrol and your favorite ‘other’ world.

To this end, we’re publishing Cosmic Patrol under a Creative Commons license. Details on how this license works are noted below.

On my FATE SF blog, I would like to post content for Cosmic Patrol, including FATE conversions. So here is my issue. FATE is governed by the Open Gaming License. Cosmic Patrol is published as a Creative Commons license. Can I get a CC waver from you so that I can publish the mechanics for FATE conversions under the OGL? All other text would be published under the CC share alike license.

    Please let me know.

Hey John, sorry for the slow reply – crazy busy con-prep season. I’ll shoot you an email.
